As public safety workers we often work alongside the many roadways in the area.  We ask that motorists slow down and move over when possible.  Anyone who works alongside the highways knows the terrible feeling of vehicles “flying by”.  In Oregon you are required by law to move over and slow down.  Emergency workers and their families are grateful for those that use extreme caution when driving by the scene of an emergency.

Occasionally we do close major roadways for our safety and out of necessity.  We understand this is an inconvenience and do our best to limit the duration.
